Project Details – Distributed CCTV Systems

Requirement:

Client with a large site that has remote locations with no local infrastructure except power but requiring CCTV to be controlled and managed centrally. The client required visibility of these locations because of unauthorised persons accessing the site and illegal dumping.

Solution:

Avigilon analytic appliances and cameras were installed at each location that required protection. Remote access was provided by the installation of a CSL router which provided a VPN link using their infrastructure to connect via the internet to a central control location PC running the Avigilon client software.

Client security team now have the ability to view these locations around the site also react to analytic events as they arise.
